We have been a bit addicted to the Gachapon/Gashapon ball vending machines that litter the streets in Japan, some towns have specific machines for their mascot while bigger franchises can be found all over Japan.
I love the Gundam models so headed straight to those machines in Osaka (Sega arcade in Dotonbori), my plan was to make a crappy video of the robot emerging from the little ball. What I didn't realise was it was waaaaaay more intricate than I ever thought, so just lumping a few body parts together wasn't the order of the day. I went to starbucks to grab the free wifi, a frappuccino and in the spare 20mins do my project...1hr later I'm scratching my head, there are no instructions and no clear image of the final toy. Tiny plastic limbs, joints and assorted highgrade futuristic weaponry litter the table, I'm pretty sure the man opposite nearly grabbed it off me to finish the bloody thing in exasperation! (honestly, it took me 3 mins to open the bloody ball)
Eventually after completing what would take a 3 year old mere minutes here is GundmanDash/06 F91.
